So I have been working lots of extra hours due to critical staff shortages and the amount of patients admitted to the hospital. I am going to get caught up with this today and try to stay on track.
Goals

Thanksgiving
I am sure that many have heard the practice of writing down 3 things everyday that you are grateful for. This practice changes you a bit as you begin to look for what you are grateful for. It is easy to get stuck on what you are not grateful for and get depressed or feel hopeless. Anything you focus on will grow in your life. So I decided to take a more positive approach to my life and become a more grateful positive person. It is recommended that you keep something by your bed to write down 3 things before you go to sleep that you are grateful for. This works for me as I find myself looking throughout the day for things that i can write down at night. Like my job, it is a dumpster fire right now but it is for all healthcare workers now. Losing my other job has made me grateful for this job. I know many people have lost their jobs during this epidemic. I think that this practice teaches you to be happy where you are with what you have. I have been listening to Rick Warren on youtube and I am liking him , he sticks to the Bible.
