Today I worked and I did not work on my goals today. I typically use Sunday as a day to reflect and plan my week. This week is going to be messed up as I work a double tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get back to normal here next week. I have realized some things though; 1. I need to do more meal planning and food prepping 2. I need to make my goals my priority and not my job. I did this for years and it didn’t get me anywhere. I made a job my priority and I was shown where my loyalty got me, they eliminated my position. My job at the hospital is more difficult to say no to though. I know the patients need to be seen and taken care of . We have been looking at unprecedented numbers of patients coming in and they are sicker than ever. This combined with Covid ramping up and care giver burn out has left all the hospitals short and overwhelmed. I did realize that I have not really got to the point that I am the priority. I hope to do better at this. There will always be something that throws a wrench in our plans but we need to plan ahead and be prepared. Here’s to still learning! Happy Sunday.
